Visiting our fellow Gleaners in the Okanagan!

I had a great time a couple of weeks ago visiting the other two B.C. Gleaners facilities. Each of the Gleaners is independent yet all have a similar ministry of sending food to those in need around the world. We all operate similarly but also differently according to the facility, location, produce, volunteers, etc that we have. It is so great to collaborate and learn from each other. North Okanagan Gleaners is in Lavington, about 20 minutes out of Vernon and Okanagan Gleaners is in Oliver. It was wonderful to finally get to see in person the beautiful ministries running out of each of these places! If you get a chance to go to the Okanagan, I encourage you to go volunteer for a morning! You will love it!
