Feeding the soul and body

Dozens of Pastors in Ethiopia came together for Bible training and each left with a box of FV Gleaners soup (1200 meals) to distribute in their churches.

Meeting the Needs of Global Hunger

The Need:

We receive more requests for food than we can fill each year.

Good News!

Our volunteer numbers are up which means we can make more food for hungry people!

The Challenge

We are running out of room and need to create more volunteer spaces (so we can make more food to feed the hungry!)

Please pray for us as we consider creative, efficient, and cost-effective ways to make more volunteers spots in the space we presently have (while we continue to work towards applying for an expansion of our facility)

Update

174 guests came for an interactive tour at our first public Open House in July!

Giving at our Fundraising Banquets raised enough funds to cover two months of operating expenses! Thank you!

Bring a plate of savoury or sweet finger food to share. Come and enjoy carols, food, an FVG presentation, and time to visit!

Donations

Fraser Valley Gleaners is 100% donor driven. Your donation dollars help us feed some of the world's hungry by converting surplus food into a nutritious vegetable soup mix. Funds donated are used to operate our facility and enable us to give our food aid away free of charge to those in need. Charitable tax receipts will be issued for tax purposes on your donations.

Cheque - (mail or in person)

Monthly auto-withdrawal - (call or email the office for info.)

Cash, cheque, e-transfer & EFT do not cost FVG any fees.

Donation Receipts for income tax purposes are issued in February for the previous year.
