In order to be able to expand our building, we need to make a Non-Farm Use Application with the City & the Agricultural Land Commission. As this can be a complicated process, we have hired a consultant group to assist us. They have already done a great deal of work in preparation. In December 2024, Gleaners had a preliminary meeting with the City of Abbotsford’s Planning Department. Soon we will be ready to submit our application to the City. If approved, our application will be referred to the ALC. This process along with potential rezoning, upgrades & building permits is likely to take 18-24 months or more. We covet your prayers.

Fraser Valley Gleaners is 100% donor driven.  Your donation dollars help us feed some of the world's hungry by converting reclaimed food into a nutritious vegetable soup mix.  Funds donated are used to operate our facility and enable us to give our food aid away free of charge to those in need.  Charitable donation receipts will be issued in February for the previous year.  Thank you for your continued support!
