On February 24, 2022 Russia invaded Ukraine and our hearts broke as we heard the reports.  Everyone wanted to do something for the Ukrainian people.  Compassionate Resource Warehouse contacted us.  Would we collect items for their warehouse to send to Ukrainian refugees in Poland?  Our volunteers eagerly brought clothes and household goods and we quickly filled enough boxes for a truckload.  Next CRW asked if we could send some soup.  Our soup applications are in well in advance, but we had two loads that had customs issues and would likely be delayed some time.  The Lord knew!  In march we were able to send 1.2 million servings of soup mix to Poland for Ukrainian refugees.  As the was continues, so has the need.  Food for the Hungry Canada requested soup and in July they facilitated sending 600,000 FV Gleaners soup servings into Ukraine.  We have another 5 pallets of dried soup mix ready to go to Ukraine as soon as we receive word of a shipping date.  Meeting these needs is only possible through our many volunteers, donors, and our partner organizations.  God bless you all and continue to pray for Ukraine!

For every hour a volunteer serves with us they are helping to provide 150 bowls of soup for hungry kids around the world!

Christmas Social: Thursday, December 8th 10:30a.m.  Please bring a large plate of sandwiches or sweets.  We’ll enjoy some carol singing, a short presentation, and fellowship together.
